NEPAL EVEREST BASE CAMP
Including the climb to Island Peak (6189 m.)
or Pokalde (5890 m.)

Kumbu Valley trekking is now a classic Nepal trek but the attraction of the “Sherpas Valley” never stops to seduce with its old culture, its imposing nature and with its religious tradition.
During the trek there is the possibility to climb one of the “trekking peaks” close to route. Island Peak or Pokalde, the first a 6000 metre peak technically easy and also very famous, the second just a few metres less than 6000 metre but magnificent for the view from the top. Both tops offer a unique  panorama: Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Baruntse, Ama Dablan, Cho Oyu e Kangtega are only some of the mountains visible.

Duration: 3 weeks

When: October - november. Anytime pre and post monsoon for groups already formed.

Individual fee: 2800 Euro for trekking + 200 Euro for the peak climbing.

What’s included?:  flight ticket Milano-Kathmandu A/R, B&B in tourist hotel in Kathmandu, full board service for the trekking, inland transfer, porters and guides, assistence by UIAGM mountain guide with international licence, collective equipment.

What’s not included?: Personal insurance for travel and rescue (compulsory), Nepal Visa fees, lunch and dinner in the city, personal expenses, everything not included in the section “what’s included”.

Program:
1st day:        Fly from Milano to Kathmandu
2nd day:       Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel
3rd day:       City sightseeing and preparations for trekking
4th day:        Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla.
5th day:        Lukla 2800 m. - Phakding 2652 m.
6th day:        Phakding - Namche Bazaar 3446 m.
7th day:        Namche Bazaar (acclimatization day)
8th day:        Namche Bazaar - Thyangboche 3867 m.
9th day:        Thyangboche - Periche 4252 m.
10th day:      Periche - Lobuche 4930 m.
11th day:      Lobuche - Gorakshep 5184 m.
12th day:      Gorakshep (acclimatization stop) – climb to Kala Pattar 5634 m
13th day:      Gorakshep – Everest Base Camp 5357 m.
14th day – 19th day: Climb to the mountain or Gokio trekking and back to Namche Bazaar
20th day:      Namche Bazaar - Lukla
21st day:      Lukla - Kathmandu
22nd day:     Fly back Kathmandu to Milano
